David Fraenkel (1845-1930) was born in Winschoten and worked in Amsterdam as a photographer from 1867. Addresses in Amsterdam include the Commelinstraat 43 where he lived/worked from 1894-1903 and before 1911.The two children would have been photographed between 1894 and 1903.From the Van den Akker family photograph album.
