Mid 18th century
Man's waistcoat made from a silver brocaded material with small woven flowers in various colours. It is also decorated with applied spangles metal threads (passing and purl) and small foil shapes. The sleeves and back of the garment are made of linen while the lining is of a felted woollen material.
