Early 20th century
Fan with a panel of fine silk that has been decorated with a painted and embroidered floral motif. In addition small metal spangles have been attached to the ground. The outer part of the field has been decorated with machine made lace. The ribs are made from bone that has been partially covered with mother-of-pearl.
