Mid 19th century
Square sampler embroidered with thick multi-coloured woollen thread on a linen ground. The main design consists of a buck jumping a fence surrounded by stylised floral motifs. Along the lower edge are the initials A and K. The main design is framed by rosettes and T shapes.
