Early 20th century
Front and back yoke of a woman's dress decorated with (front yoke) a design of squares and triangles worked in cross stitch and (back yoke) an applied purple velvet panel decorated with a couched design of stylised flowers. The flowers are further highlighted using pink and purple (floss) silk in satin stitch.
