White cotton background, plain weave. Alternating embroidered red/purple and blue/purple star motifs (of one kind), separated by an embroidered zigzag line bordered by three ribs of thicker weft thread ("cording"). Twisted warp thread as fringes. Used as head cloth as wel as tortilla cloth.
