"Jap officers and men - 200.000 of them - from Malaya, Sumatra, Andaman Islands and Nicobar Islands, are being concentrated on Rempang Island, commonly know as Devil's Island - a remote spot hidden among the maze of Islands forming the Eastern Archipelago, 25 miles S.E. of Singapore.
