Britisch Commandos operating on the road to Vietri (by Salerno), Italy, captured this 210 mm. German field gun and killed it's vrew during early stages of the fighting for Salerno, where the Allied Fifth Army established the beachhead for it's campaign against the Germans on the Italian mainland.
