A War artist sketching portion of the internee prison camp at Tjideng, Batavia, Java, is besieged by curious children, Women and children, half-starved, and with practically no cloting for three and a half years were compelled to exist in a fenced of portion of the lowest slums in Batavia, amidst indescribable filth and squalor.
